This was an experiment to see how well 3d printed parts work with traditional sculpted elements in bronze casting and wax burnout. The spiral head part was 3d printed in PLA and the body was sculpted with casteline and foundry wax. This was cast as a single piece and everything burnout cleanly. The base is welded steel stock. It stands about 57cm.
